TCG Card Shop Simulator launched ten days ago, and within that time frame, the solo-developed title has hit 400,000 downloads.
400,000 downloads is a feat for any indie game, especially TCG Card Shop Simulator, which was developed by a one-man team and released ten days early. Plus, TCG Card Shop Simulator was released ten days early ā it was originally supposed to come out today.Ā
Developer OPNeon Games is a one-person studio thatās developing the game with players in mind (hence the Early Access release). The goal is to update the game once a month, with an updating roadmap listed on the gameās home screen itself.
The goal of TCG Card Shop Simulator is to run a successful TCG shop. The game in question is Tetramon, a game that exists solely in TCG Card Shop Simulator. Players can open packs themselves, collecting them all and selling the duplicates.Ā
Keeping TCG players happy (and hygienic), isnāt as easy as it sounds. Players can set the prices of cards to help balance satisfaction with profits. Plus, tournaments can keep things interesting. Make enough and the shop can expand and bring staff on board, bringing in even more TCG customers.
OPNeon Games was thankful for the downloads, saying,
āI’m extremely grateful for the support of all the players toward the game myself, and this made me even more pumped to continue developing this project into a better game!ā
