Simteract has released a new update for Taxi Life: A City Driving Simulator, bringing a free luxury cosmetic pack and a (not free) VIP City Guide DLC.
The luxury cosmetic pack comes with several different items that elevate the look of vehicles, both inside and out. According to the update announcement, these are a “thank you” gift to players. It includes the following:
- Two dashboard accessories: a pocket watch and a wristwatch
- Three luxury interior materials
- Three luxury exterior materials
- One custom gear stick
- Three rim styles
This includes a stylish golden paint to show off the epitome of luxury.
Additionally, a new DLC for Taxi Life: A City Driving Simulator was released with the update, called VIP City Guide. Essentially, players will act as tour guides. They’ll pick up tourists and drive them around the map, showing off various places as they go.
At the end, they’ll still have a final destination to be dropped off. Players will also have to focus on keeping them entertained throughout the journey, balancing their interest and patience with safe driving.
The VIP City Guide DLC also includes a new car model and a new game mode, which players can get glimpses of below (along with the gorgeous golden paint from the luxury cosmetic pack):
Over the past few months, there have been several updates rolled out. These updates were geared towards fixing bugs across different areas of the game, such as UI, navigation, AI, events, and more. Players can check out a log of these fixes here.
