The developer is now working from a new office in the Minato Ward of Tokyo, an area popular among gaming companies. Funnily, it’s just down the street from the headquarters of Bandai Namco.

The studio will work on new projects including the development of a sequel for its hit game Hi-Fi Rush.

The Studio Head is Colin Mack, who served as general manager of the studio since 2023 and worked as an Executive Producer on Hi-Fi Rush, Ghostwire: Tokyo, The Evil Within 2, and The Evil Within: The Executioner.

The goal is to inherit the unique style and development philosophy of the previous incarnation of Tango Gameworks, while also expanding via accelerated recruitment, to build an even stronger development structure.

Tango is currently looking for developers in several roles, including Character Artists, Level Designers, Animators, System Programmers, and more.

Krafton acquired the studio back in August after Microsoft decided to close it despite the critical success of Hi-Fi Rush. Tango Gameworks was previously a subsidiary of Bethesda, which Microsoft acquired in 2021.

In other Krafton news, yesterday we learned that the company will use Nvidia’s generative AI technology to develop “Co-Playable Characters” which will initially be included in the games of the PUBG franchise and in the Sims competitor inZoi.
