Today, Bandai Namco announced that an enhanced version of its beloved action RPG, Tales of Berseria Remastered, is coming out in February 2026.
Tales of Berseria Remastered lets fans of the series and newcomers alike experience the journey of Velvet Crowe, a woman seeking revenge as she uncovers the mystery behind her brother’s murder. Players will embark on a tale torn between emotion and reason, tasking Velvet with recruiting companions to help her slash her way through everyone in their path and navigate through emotional bonds and betrayal.
The remastered version will feature several quality of life enhancements, including early access to the Grade Shop, destination icons, and the ability to toggle encounters. Every bit of DLC from the original release will also be included, featuring character costumes, bonus items, and other fan-favorite extras.
Tales of Berseria was originally released back in 2016 as entry 16 in the Tales of Series. While the story was well-received, many noted that the graphics didn’t live up to the standard of the PS4’s processing power at the time, so it makes complete sense as to why Bandai Namco would decide to give it a remaster.
It is interesting that they didn’t decide to do it for games in the series like Tales of the Abyss, which only has a 3DS version to date. The remaster joins Tales of Xillia Remastered as the second one announced this year.
Tales of Berseria Remastered is available now for pre-order on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam). For more information on this and other news about the series, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily for updates.
