Today, before the top-6 Street Fighter 6 tournament at EVO 2024, Capcom revealed the first look at the upcoming guest character Terry Bogard.
If you’re unfamiliar with Terry, he’s one of SNK’s most popular characters from the Fatal Fury series. He also plays a prominent role in The King of Fighters franchise.
During the livestreamed event, we learned that he’s coming in fall 2024 as a DLC character for Street Fighter 6 as part of the year 2 lineup of new content following M. Bison, who just returned a few weeks ago.
You can check out what he looks like in Street Fighter 6 in the trailer below.
We have known for a while that Terry Bogard would come to Capcom’s flagship fighting game, as the announcement was made at the beginning of June.
He isn’t the only character from Fatal Fury who will appear in Street Fighter 6, as Mai Shiranui will be a DLC guest fighter in winter 2025.
Between them, we’re also getting a veteran of the franchise, Elena, in the spring of 2025. While they make up the second “year” of content for the game, they’re actually stretched quite a bit wider, over a year and a half.
Terry certainly looks quite different in the new engine, but no less cool than he used to be in SNK’s games.
Street Fighter 6 is currently available for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. An arcade version is also available in Japan.
If you’re interested in the Fatal Fury series, we just learned more about SNK’s upcoming game Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, including the returning character Kevin Rian.
