Today, another festival has launched on Steam, and it’s the Simfest, dedicated to all sorts of Simulators.
The Steam Simfest is now at its fourth edition, and it’s part of the festivals hosted on Steam but organized by groups of third-party developers.
Specifically, this one is organized by Stray Fawn Studio, Fireshine Games, Sumo Digital, and Future Friends Games, albeit many other studios and publishers are participating with big discounts.
The festival starts today and ends on July 28, so you have plenty of time to take advantage of the deals.
Among these you can find Train Sim World 5 80% off, Norland 35% off, Manor Lords 35% off, House Flipper 2 35% off, SnowRunner 50% off, Planet Coaster 2 35% off, Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic 50% off, Star Trucker 35% off, Firefighting Simulator – The Squad 50% off, Police Simulator: Patrol Officers 50% off, Construction Simulator 50% off, and many, many more.
You can find the full list on the dedicated page on Steam
Plenty of the games part of the festivals have demos available, so you can also try them out before you commit to a purchase.
If you’re unfamiliar with Steam’s festivals, they happen pretty often on Valve’s popular PC digital distribution platform to celebrate a specific genre.
They go from fishing, to city building, visual novels, cooking, idlers, Horror, and more. They have become rather common as of late, often organized by the developers and publishers themselves. As a matter of fact, another festival is ongoing, dedicated to games featuring automation.
They’re a good way to check out games you may not be aware of, especially while we wait for the popular Steam Next Fest, which tends to cover a much wider range of titles.
The next known festival will be the Racing Fest, from July 28 to August 4, with the 4X Fest scheduled to follow from August 11 to August 18.
