In other Starfield news, its Shattered Space DLC is set to release at the end of this month, September 30, 2024, for Xbox Series X|S and PC. The update will feature new storylines, locations, enemies, and gameplay, allowing players to explore the mysterious planet of Va’Ruun’kai to uncover the many secrets it holds.
This will be the first major DLC for Starfield since it was released last year on September 6, 2023. While it received generally positive praise from critics and fans, many were disappointed by its overall story and focus on quantity over quality when it came to the makeup of each planet. Despite this, the action RPG still reached its all-time concurrent player base peak of 330,000 while also being played by over 13 million people since last December.
