Today, GSC Game World revealed that Stalker: Legends of the Zone Trilogy Enhanced Edition will launch on May 20, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Stalker: Legends of the Zone Trilogy Enhanced Edition is a remaster of the first three games in the survival horror FPS series: Shadow of Chernobyl (2007), Clear Sky (2008), and Call of Pripyat (2009). Each title will receive upgraded visuals, next-gen console optimizations, and expanded mod support.
Visual upgrades include enhanced lighting, upscaled textures, advanced shaders, 4K pre-rendered cinematics, and detailed 3D NPCs, weapons, and environment models to provide a more modern and realistic experience. Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 5 Pro will also feature Quality (native 4K/30 FPS), Balanced (upscaled 4K/40 FPS), Performance (upscaled 4K/60 FPS), and Ultra Performance (upscaled 2K/120 FPS) graphic mods.
Stalker: Legends of the Zone Trilogy Enhanced Edition doesn’t leave PC players out either, as you’ll be able to integrate Steam workshops and cloud saves, as well as have full gamepad and Steam Deck support and optimization. Speaking of PC experiences, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S players will also have full keyboard and mouse support available upon launch.
Anyone who owns the original trilogy on Xbox Series X|S and PS5 already can upgrade to the Enhanced Edition for free. The trilogy is also available for purchase as a bundle for $39.99 USD or individually at $19.99 USD per title.
