Today, the iRacing and Skip Barber Racing School announced that the Skip Barber Formula iRacing Series is returning in 2025, along with details about the format and schedule.
The series will consist of six races that will start later this month. The first of these races will take place at the Sebring International Raceway in iRacing, where they’ll also use iRacing’s Formula 4 car.
As in previous years, the top sim racers get the chance to show off their skills at the real-world Skip Barber Formula Race Series. The top three point scorers over the season will get a three-day Skip Barber Racing School opportunity before competing in a shootout for a chance at the 2026 Skip Barber Race Series. There, players will compete for prizes valued at over $500,000.
The lineup for the Skip Barber Formula iRacing Series races will be determined by a Hot Lap Qualifier. This will be a Time Attack session over three days, Friday to Sunday.
