Ships at Sea Update 0.7.5 Adds Co-op, Radio, Sonar, & Radar

After weeks of teasing, the newest update for Misc Games’ sea-faring simulation is finally here, as Ships at Sea 0.7.5 is finally live. The new patch brings a wave of improvements, including brand-new features, plenty of bug fixes, and some general quality-of-life touch-ups.

The most notable new features are summarized below:

New save files will be required to progress to Ships at Sea update 0.7.5, as v0.7.2 saves will not transfer over. A separate branch for v0.7.2 has been created, but this branch won’t receive future updates, and moving over to the new patch will eventually be required.

Additionally, the cargo-saving feature isn’t available quite yet. While the entire system has gone through an overhaul, certain features are still in development and will be implemented in the future. The full list of patch notes can be found here.

Ships at Sea originally launched back in 2023. Since then, Misc Games has adding new content to the game monthly with three significant additions since August: tier 2 cranes, MacDuff partnership, and tier 3 fishing vessels.

While they haven’t specifically designated a date for sailing out of early access yet, Ships at Sea is available now on Steam, starting at $24.99.
