Today, GS2 Games announced that Sengoku Dynasty is coming to console (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S) later this year, along with an Ultimate Edition.
Sengoku Dynasty is a feudal Japanese simulator that gives players the chance to live in a virtual feudal Japan. They can live how they want, starting in a small village they can either grow to a sprawling dynasty or leave at the first chance to go explore the world.
The simulator has been available on PC since November of last year after spending time in early access. It’s also still receiving updates, so console players won’t be hopping into a port of a game that’s not getting any future content.
Sengoku Dynasty Ultimate Edition comes with the game, a strategy guide, a Japanese cuisine cookbook, an official soundtrack, and the Scrolls of Sengoku Dynasty set.
The official strategy guide is a helpful book that dives into everything from playing with friends, crafting and building strategies, and even helpful NPCs and traders to look out for.
The Japanese cuisine cookbook is full of illustrated recipes that feature authentic Japanese food. Several of these recipes are from the Sengoku period.
The official soundtrack shows off works from the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey composer Queen of Noise, while the eight scrolls in the Scrolls of Sengoku Dynasty set show behind-the-scenes looks at creating the game.
Sengoku Dynasty (and its Ultimate Edition) is coming to console (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S) around August 2025. The exact date isn’t known yet, but more news should be announced as that date draws closer.
