Sea Power Reveals New Features and Content

Triassic Games shared a look at what the team is working on to further improve the naval strategy simulation game Sea Power: Naval Combat in the Missile Age.

We start the reveal with a list of areas the developers are currently focusing on.

It includes the following features:

We also hear about missile kinematics, which is currently in the final stage of testing and should come to the main branch in the next few weeks.

Basically, missile kinematics is a more accurate simulation of how missiles fly. This is important, for instance, to calculate range, as follows

We also get to see an overhaul of the assets for missiles and bombs, on top of upcoming content like the Royal Navy Leander class frigate, a launcher for Royal Navy units, and the Ikara anti-submarine weapon it launches, the USS Merrill DD-976 with Armored Box Launchers installed for Tomahawk missiles, the new intro events for linear campaigns, and the A-1 Skyraider.

Sea Power: Naval Combat in the Missile Age is currently available for PC. Like most early access games, it’s updated quite often with new content, features, and fixes.

A recent large patch added the Chinese navy, while we just got a look at the roadmap up to Q3 2026.
