Coffee Stain Studios has released the long-awaited 1.1 Update for Satisfactory after it was published on the experimental branch on Steam back in April.

The 1.1 update for Satisfactory includes several new features, quality-of-life updates, and bug fixes. Among the new features are controller support, a reworked Photo Mode, personnel elevators, and a new way to use resources cleaned in debris from Crash Sites.

While Photo Mode doesn’t work with vehicles, Satisfactory’s 1.1 Update will add a new way for players to hide the HUD for nicer screenshots.

Players will also finally get the chance to play with no fuel, an option that players have been asking about for quite some time, according to Coffee Stain Studios. Additionally, trains have a new mechanic called buffer stops, which are stops at the end of railways.

Other new features include a left-handed path and block signals, along with a new and improved railway building system.

When it comes to other quality-of-life changes and additions, the following have all been adjusted:

  • New conveyor attachment
  • Conveyor Lifes work with Splitters and Mergers
  • Priority Merger
  • New Conveyor Throughput Monitor
  • Straight and Curved Build Mode pipeline options
  • New three-way hypertubes
  • New hypertube branch
  • New beams, gates, cables, shelves, and more architectural pieces
  • New Auto Connect option when building
  • Soft clearance for conveyor poles and pipelines
  • Improved drone movement

Several visual updates were also included in the 1.1 Update, including those for falling trees, Spore and Gas Pillars, Explosive Rebar, Nobelisks, and Power Slugs.

Various audio improvements were also made, including more narration, Ukrainian localization, and new options for voice chat.

Other improvements include those for modders and port forwarding updates for those with dedicated servers.
