Love is in the air for Team17 Digital and Sassy Chap Games, as they just announced the official release date of their dating simulator, Date Everything. The sandbox date sim will officially launch for PC, Nintendo Switch, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2025.
As the title states, there will be no limit to what players can do dating wise in the game, even exploring the romantic potential of air. You’ll do this by using the Dateviator glasses, allowing you to uncover the unique personalities and quirks of everything and anything.
Date Everything features over 100 fully voiced characters, multiple endings and branching paths, and of 1.5 million words, equating to over 70,000 voicelines. The voice cast features a boatload of familiar faces including Felicia Day (Supernatural, The Magicians), Laura Bailey (Critical Role, The Last of Us) and Ben Starr (Final Fantasy XVI).
Visuals and sound effects got plenty of work put into them too, with over 11,000 hand drawn images and four hours of music, including themes for every datable character. After you’ve made your choices, you’ll be able to explore through Date Everything’s fully interactive 3d overworld that changes based on choices made in the playthrough.
Date Everything is the first game by Sassy Chaps, a studio that was created in 2018 by three voice actors: Ray Chase, Robbie Daymond, and Max Mittelman. Publisher Team17 Digital (Dredge, Golf With Your Friends, Overcooked, & Worms) joined the project in 2022, which helped the team grow from the original three to over 50 employees.
