Marvelous and XSEED Games have been revealing characters from Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma ahead of its launch later this year, and the latest character to get one is one of the bachelors, Mauro.
Mauro is an adventurer who’s hunting for treasure. He travels from place to place on airship, and he arrives in Azuma from a foreign country while looking for a legendary treasure. His emotions are easily moved, and he cries easily according to a translation from 4Gamer.
In case you missed it, Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma revealed more about Mauro on Valentine’s Day. To celebrate the holiday of love, trailers for both the bachelors and bachelorettes of the game were released.
The trailer itself is in Japanese, though players can see how Mauro acts and interacts with other characters, including the player. The last bachelorette video for Hina released one day later on Marvelous’ English YouTube channel, so players can look for that here starting tomorrow, March 5.
In the meantime, players can watch the Japanese Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma trailer for Mauro below:
Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma will be released on May 30 on PC and Nintendo Switch. It’s available for pre-order now, along with an Earth Dancer Edition that comes with several goodies and the early DLC for the game.
The upcoming installment in the Rune Factory franchise is quite a bit different from previous games. For more about it, check out the romance system, village building features, and combat that was revealed in a live stream earlier this year.
