Marvelous has just dropped a new look at the goddess of summer (and swordsmanship), Matsuri, one of the bachelorettes in the upcoming Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma.
Matsuri is the goddess of summer for the country of Azuma. She’s also the goddess of swordsmanship, which leads her to tackle most things with brute force. On the contrary, she has the finesse of a swordmaster — she just enjoys the physicality of things. She’s incredibly cheerful.
In the trailer, fans can see a group of characters listening to Matsuri talk through something. One of the characters is Murasame, a samurai who aims to be the best swordsman in Azuma. Considering his life’s goal, there are probably unique interactions between the bachelor and bachelorette.
The trailer is in Japanese, so it’s not clear what exactly is going on in the trailer. Each of the bachelor and bachelorette trailers was first released on Marvelous’ Japanese YouTube page before hitting Marvelous USA’s channels. However, it only takes a few days before they’re released in English.

As the release date for Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma draws closer, Marvelous keeps releasing specialized trailers for characters in the game. While the majority of these have been for the bachelors and bachelorettes in the game, there’s also one for Woolby. The ones already released are Uraraka, Murasame, Iroha, and Mauro.
On Valentine’s Day, Marvelous released two trailers going through the bachelors and bachelorettes of the game. However, each character only gets a few seconds, but it’s a great way to see all of the characters coming up.
Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma is set to release on May 30 for PC and Nintendo Switch.
