Grasshopper Manufacture has revealed the release date of its upcoming sci-fi action adventure title Romeo Is A Dead Man, and it’s coming on February 11, 2026.
Goichi “Suda51” Suda (who holds many hats at Grasshopper Manufacture, specifically Executive Director, Scenario Writer, and Producer) shared the release date in quite a funny statement, referencing the again-delayed Grand Theft Auto 6:
“Now we’ve won our game of chicken against cough a certain twice-delayed 2026 release, we can reveal our cards and confirm we never intended to launch in May in the first place. We’re warping space-time to put the finishing touches to ROMEO IS A DEAD MAN ahead of its launch next February.”
Romeo Is A Dead Man is a new IP from Grasshopper Manufacture and Suda51, the developer and mind behind the No More Heroes trilogy, The Silver Case, and Shadows of the Damned. Like the studio’s previous games, it’ll feature bloody action and a crazy story.
The game follows Romeo Stargazer, an FBI Space-Time special agent who’s saved from death by taking on the mask of DeadGear. His goal is to go after dangerous fugitives across the multiverse with a shattered space-time continuum.
As if that’s not enough on Romeo’s plate, he’s also grappling with the fact that his girlfriend, Juliet, has disappeared.
