Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive showed off the co-op features today for their upcoming heavy machinery simulation title, RoadCraft, which is set to release next month.
The multiplayer experience in RoadCraft will feature four-player co-op, with cross-play and built-in voice chat available on both console and PC. Drop-in and drop-out will also be seamless, as you can join or leave at any time without worrying about losing your progress, since it will all be shared.
You and your friends will be tasked with helping to reshape areas affected by disasters, including dealing with the aftermath of environmental phenomena like massive floods or relentless sandstorms. As these front-line rebuilders, you’ll need to use a large fleet of construction vehicles to clear debris, reactivate dormant factories, and rebuild crucial infrastructure, such as roads and bridges, to revive the local industry.
While they have assisted in the development of other titles, working alongside 343 Industries on the Halo franchise, developer Saber Interactive is best known for creating simulation games and construction simulators, such as SnowRunner, MudRunner, and Teardown.
Pre-orders for RoadCraft are available now in both Standard and Rebuild editions. The Standard includes the Aramatsu Bowhead 30T heavy dump truck, while REbuild comes with the Rebuild Expansion, the Aramatsu Bowhead 30T, and the Invictus Type A scout vehicle.
The game is set to launch on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC (Steam) on May 20, 2025. A new DLC is also planned for 2025 as a part of the Rebuild Expansion and will feature two new maps, each of which is filled with extra missions, activities, and utility vehicles.
