The new operation will launch officially on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, while those who want an early look and to help test it will be able to do so tomorrow, August 18.

The poster boy of the new operation is the new operator (duh!) Denari, a defender from Switzerland,

He uses sticky and throwable  T.R.I.P.  Connectors as his gadget. On their own, they do nothing, but they will connect once thrown, creating a web of lasers that deal damage and break other gadgets.

The season will also include overhauled versions of the Lair, Nighthaven Labs, and Consulate maps, on top of the new neutral sector assignment Keres Safe Room, a new Operator pool for Dual Front mode, and more.

Below you can check out a series of videos, including an animated trailer, the CGI trailer, a deep dive into Denari, and the whole reveal livestream, including all the information about the season.

That being said, dear Ubisoft, “Anime” doesn’t mean what you think it means, as the animated trailer definitely isn’t anime by any stretch of the imagination. It’s also obvious that whoever made it tried to characterize Denari as hailing from the Italian part of Switzerland, and it’s just as obvious that they had Spanish in mind. Italian speakers don’t usually say “mio” (my) in front of “Fratello” (Brother) like Spanish speakers do.

If you’re unfamiliar with Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, it’s currently available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. The same platforms will host Rainbow Six Siege X, but Dual Front won’t be available on old-gen consoles.

The game has been a staple of Ubisoft’s lineup for many years, and it has been one of the best performers in the company’s financials, albeit last quarter’s was marred by a payment issue.

IT was recently part of the Esports World Cup 2025, where the tournament was won by Team Secret.
