Previously, Giants Software had revealed that Project Motor Racing would be released in fall 2025. Now, it’s announced that the release date for both PC and consoles is November 25, 2025.

Alongside the release date was the news that Project Motor Racing will launch with full mod support using the Giants Editor. The Giants Editor is the same tried and true mod system that the company uses for Farming Simulator 25. Players can upload and download mods to it, and developers will test each one out before it’s available to download.

Boris Stefan, CSO and Head of Publishing at Giants Software, explained this:

“Project Motor Racing taps into the same powerhouse modding ecosystem as Farming Simulator. Racing modders will be able to tweak, tune, and transform their experience however they like.”

That’s not to say that players will need to mod Project Motor Racing to enjoy the sim. Straight4 Studios Game Design Director, Austin Ogonoski, explained that, “the driving physics are key, of course, but the sim is built around racing.”

There are over 70 recreated cars in Project Motor Racing, separated into 10 racing classes, including LMDh, GT3, and historic legends. Additionally, 27 tracks have been scanned and brought into the game with features like dynamic weather and day/night cycles.

Another feature that was announced was the single-player Career Mode. This mode will put players in the hot seat as they strive to be the best. This comes with all of the thrilling ups and downs and risks that racers would expect.

Ogonoski also discussed this concept:

“We wanted to capture the harsh reality of pro motorsport: Budgets. Repairs. Sponsors. Failed overtakes that don’t just wreck your car but your whole season… Your career in Project Motor Racing is motorsport with consequences.”

There’s also a new Career Mode trailer that fans can watch below while they eagerly await for the release date for Project Motor Racing to get here:

Project Motor Racing will be released on November 25, 2025, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Fans can check out a gallery of images from Giants Software below:
