Siscia Games has revealed a new trailer for Pompeii: The Legacy, a new narrative city-builder, that shows off new gameplay elements, while also announcing that a new demo will be coming to Steam soon.
The trailer shows off several things, such as the individual panels that look at a character’s lineage and privileges in society. There’s also a Roman campaign that lets players start from the very bottom, founding farms and urban centers in the ashes of Mount Vesuvius, which is where the game is set (hence the name Pompeii).
Being set in the Mediterranean, there are intricate trade networks to navigate. The game itself is also voice-acted, and players have a chance to influence the narrative with choices that make a difference.
Pompeii: The Legacy will also feature a sandbox mode for those who don’t want a more customizable experience.
The gameplay trailer is actually part of Steam Next Fest, which lasts from June 9 to June 16. Fans can watch the trailer below:
That’s not all — Siscia Games is updating the Steam demo for Pompeii: The Legacy on June 6. Additionally, more content will be released for the demo on June 9.
There’s still no release date for Pompeii: The Legacy yet, though it is supposed to release on PC sometime this year.
