Pokémon fans, get ready — Pokémon TCG Pocket is getting a major card set in less than a week, Space-Time Smackdown, and it’s centered around the space and time Legendary Pokémon themselves.

Space-Time Smackdown features Palkia and Dialga, a fitting duo considering Palkia represents space and Dialga represents time. The legendary Pokémon are from the Sinnoh region, and they’ll each have a pack in Pokémon TCG Pocket.

Other notable Pokémon (and people) from the Sinnoh region are also coming with the new set. Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup — the region’s starter Pokémon — are also in the set. Other Pokémon include:

  • Pachirisu ex
  • Leafeon
  • Cresselia
  • Gible
  • Honchkrow
  • Lucario

Of course, a Sinnoh-based expansion set wouldn’t be the same without its Champion, Cynthia. She has a full art card, and it looks like her Garchomp and Togekiss (and their pre-evolutions of course) will be in the set too. The text of her card gives an insane amount of damage to these two if they’re the Active Pokémon.

Accessories coming with Space-Time Smackdown include a Dialga, Palki, and Darkrai binder and display board covers. This does hint that Darkrai will be a card as well.

That’s not all that’s coming — a new trade feature is being introduced on January 29. This lets players trade cards of the same rarity from previous card sets and expansions (not including Space-Time Smackdown). It will use new items, trade hourglasses and trade tokens, to complete.

Not all cards are tradeable. The only star-rarity cards that can be traded are 1-star rares.

Pokémon TCG Pocket released a trailer for the Space-Time Smackdown set, which players can view below:

Fans can peruse a gallery of images to go with the set as well, including reveals of the new binders, card packs, and some of the upcoming cards:

The Space-Time Smackdown set has two booster packs to choose from. This means it’s likely bigger than the Mythical Island expansion from last month. Pokémon TCG Pocket has saved developer DeNA’s financial results from the sheer amount of money players are spending in the game.
