According to the official website, you’ll be able to find these oversized Pokémon at mysterious new Power Spots located across the globe. You’ll be able to battle them with friends and strangers alike in order to unlock the power of Max Particles.

Max Particles allow your Pokémon Go characters to unlock Max Moves, which deal more damage and have stronger effects. Alongside this, Dynamax Pokémon can learn three Max moves: an attack, Max Spirit, and Max Guard. The first is an attack based on their type, while Spirit heals the character and its allies and Guard reduces the damage taken from a Power Spot Boss.

Power Spot Bosses are powerful opponents that boast great rewards that can only be engaged by trainers with at least one Dynamax. During these matches, you’ll need to tap, swipe, and fill meters on your screen while preventing your own team from fainting.

Rewards for these battles include Rare Candy, XP, and Premier Balls. While there’s a limited number of battles and rewards that can be done and earned each day, there’s still plenty of incentive to go about capturing Dynamax Pokémon Go characters and fighting in Max Battles.

To find out more about these new features and systems, head over to the official Pokémon Go website. You can also check back to Simulation Daily for plenty of other content while you wait for its release next week.
