PlayStation State of Play June 2025 – All the News Including Final Fantasy Tactics and Marvel Tōkon

Sony Interactive Entertainment aired its latest PlayStation State of Play. As usual, while the focus is on games coming to PS5, there’s plenty of news for gamers on other platforms as well.

As we normally do with this kind of event, here you can find a handy recap with every announcement, reveal, and trailer showcased, so you don’t need to watch the whole show to find what you’re interested in.

The livestream started with Lumines Arise, which is coming in Fall 2025 for PS5 with optional PlayStation VR 2 support and Steam.

Next on the menu is Capcom, which finally showcased more of Pragmata, including gameplay. It’s coming in 2026 for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5, which is rather funny considering that it was initially announced for 2022.

We then move on to something completely different with Romeo is a Deadman by Goichi “Suda 51” Suda’s Grasshopper Manufacture. It’s also coming in 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.

The next game on the menu is Silent Hill f by Konami, which got a release date and is coming on September 25, 2025, to PS5 and PC.

We move on to fantasy with the 3D sidescroller Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement by Koji Igarashi’s ArtPlay, coming in 2026 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Bandai Namco is next with Digimon Story Time Stranger. We also get a release date on October 3, 2025, for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.

Square Enix finally listened to reason with Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles, including both the classic and enhanced versions. It’s coming on September 30, 2025, for PC, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, and PS4.

We get to take a new look at Baby Steps, coming on September 8, 2025, for PS5 and PC.

Next is the action-adventure Hirogami by Gyaar Studio. It’ll release on September 8, 2025, for PC and PlayStation 5.

We then take a look at Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots, coming on September 5, 2025, for Nintendo Switch, PC, and PS5.

Sega is next with Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, which also gets a release date on July 31, 2025, for PC, PS5, PS4, Switch, and Xbox.

The mountaineering game Cairn, also got its time in the spotlight. Not only do we get a trailer and a release date (November 5, 2025, for PS5 and PC), but also a new demo releasing today.

Digital Eclipse presented Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection, coming in 2025 to PC, Xbox, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2.

Sony presented a fight stick, codenamed Project Defiant. For now, we get to see a teaser trailer.

Konami returned under the spotlight with Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater, coming for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on August 28, 2025.

Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja are next with Nioh 3, coming in early 2026 for PS5 and PC. Interestingly, a demo has been made available today.

The next game is a VR title, Thief VR: Legacy of Shadows. It’s releasing in 2025 for Steam VR, Meta Quest, and PlayStation VR 2.

We move on to Digix Art’s Tides of Tomorrow, which will release on February 24, 2026, for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5.

We then get to see Sea of Remnants, releasing in 2026 for PS5 and PC.

Giant Squid revealed a new trailer for Sword of the Sea. We also get a release date, and we learn that it’s coming on August 19 for PC and PlayStation 5.

The livestream started wrapping up with 007 First Light by IO Interactive, starring a young James Bond. It’s coming in 2026 for Xbox Series X|S, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Sony Interactive Entertainment’s PlayStation Studios themselves showcased a small teaser of Ghost of Yōtei, actually announcing the game’s own specific State of Play, coming in July 2025 with a gameplay deep dive.

Yet, there was one more surprise as Marvel Games and Arc System Works revealed Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls, coming in 2026 for PS5 and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store).
