HoYoverse has finally revealed that the closed beta test, or the Coziness Test, for its upcoming multiplayer life sim Petit Planet is starting on November 7, 2025.
Petit Planet was first announced back in September, introducing the world to the cozy life sim set in the stars. Fans have been able to pre-register and sign up for the test since then, though news about the upcoming HoYoverse game has been sparse ever since.
In Petit Planet, and by extension its closed beta test, players will take care of a planet of their own. They’ll also build bridges between their world and other planets by befriending the “fuzzy neighbors,” who will also shape the players’ planet through a vitality system known as Luca. Luca impacts the planet’s landscape.
Besides getting to know their Neighbors and the stories they bring, players are also able to farm, fish, scavenge, and even cook. There’s a lot to do and explore both on the planet and off, as players can go on voyages to unexplored planets.
Petit Planet’s other main draw is the multiplayer aspect, which mostly sets it apart from HoYoverse’s other titles (besides the brand-new Miliastra Wonderland mode in Genshin Impact). Petit Planet will have a Galactic Bazaar that players can visit to meet other players and play mini-games.
The Galactic Bazaar will be functioning in the closed beta test, so beta players will get to experience the social side of Petit Planet.
Anyone interested in taking part in the closed beta test for Petit Planet (which will feature a data wipe at the end) can sign up here. The closed beta test itself will be available on PC and iOS, though the game is also planned to be released on Android and the Nintendo Switch 2.
While the closed beta for Petit Planet is scheduled to start on November 7, 2025, there’s no news yet on when the test will be closed.
