Pocketpair has released the v0.6.4 update for Palworld, introducing the Moon Lord [Master] and several mechanics and balance adjustments, as well as plenty of bug fixes.
The new Moon Lord [Master] is a stronger version of the Moon Lord, and players will need to collect Celestial Sigil [Master] in order to face it.
That’s the only new content in the Palworld v0.6.4 update, but there were quite a few adjustments made. First are the adjustments related to in-game mechanics, which include the following:
- Summoned Pals are less aggressive and won’t instantly attack non-hostile Pals that they run into
- When sending an overpowered Pal team on an expedition, the quantity of rewards is increased (this is instead of the expedition being quicker)
- Summoned Pals go back to a player’s party when the player dies
- Enemies don’t respawn when their base is cleared
- Death markers are displayed above base icons
- New fishing spots
When it comes to balance adjustments, several areas were adjusted, including the following:
- Trigger Happy partner skill won’t have an incredibly high power (this was unintended from the start)
- Drop rates of legendary blueprints in the Terraria dungeon have been increased
- Terraria monsters have higher selling prices
- Hallowed Plate Mail now has Heat Resistance Lv1 and Cold Resistance Lv1
- Breeding results have been adjusted for Eye of Cthulhu
- Drop quantity has been increased for Ancient Civilization Parts
- Overheat Rifle ammo now crafts 10 instead of 5
- Some Pals swim faster
A few major bug fixes were addressed in the Palworld v0.6.4 update. These were issues where mission progress was disappearing or not progressing and Pals would disappear in storage.
The last major bug fix addressed the problem of players’ items and Pals dropping in front of the Terraria dungeon when they die inside.
