Palworld: Palfarm Reveal Shows Cozy Farming Spin-Off, Plus Palworld x Ultrakill Collab

Pocketpair has revealed Palworld: Palfarm, an upcoming cozy farming sim set in the world of Palworld, and a new crossover for Palworld itself, Palworld x UltraKill.

Palworld: Palfarm puts players on an island where they’ll live among Pals and grow their farm with the help of Pals. Different Pals have different unique abilities that suit various chores, such as sowing, watering, or harvesting — very similar to the traits Pals have in Palworld.

Besides Pals who help out on the farm, there are Pals who are just island residents. Some even own shops that will help the player be the best farmer they can be, such as Petallia, the Flower Shop Owner, and Anubis, the Master Blacksmith.

Players can strengthen relationships with Pals (both island residents and those helping on the farm) by giving them gifts and speaking to them every day. These Pals have stories and histories that players can learn.

The Palworld: Palfarm reveal trailer shows off activities other than farming, like mining, fishing, riding around, and even making giant snowballs (though these are generally things you can do in farming sims, sans snowballs). Players will also have to defend their farm from the more chaotic Pals.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a Palworld game without some wacky chaos. A glimpse of this is seen in the trailer, such as the Russian roulette scene at the black market and the scene at the end, where it appears that players can catch island resident Pals.

The Steam page also alludes to Palworld shenanigans, too, with “special relationships” with the residents and Pals and dealing with Pals who slack off at work.

There’s no release date for Palworld: Palfarm yet, though it will be coming to PC, and it will feature multiplayer.

That’s not all that Pocketpair revealed — a new collaboration is coming to Palworld: Palworld x Ultrakill. There’s not much known about the collaboration yet, except for the fact that weapons and gear from Ultrakill will make their way to Palworld in the future.

If it’s anything like the Palworld: Tides of Terraria collaboration, it may include a new dungeon and/or a new boss.

This news from Pocketpair comes after the studio’s message to fans last week, which included information about not slowing down its development of Palworld and that other teams internally are working on games outside of Palworld (cue Palworld: Palfarm).
