Palworld v0.5.0 is finally here, introducing crossplay across every platform the monster-taming survival game is on. However, there are several exciting features that came with v.0.5.0.
Of course, the previously-announced crossplay feature is the biggest for the community. Players across all platforms will be able to play together for the first time.
A Global Palbox is now live, which lets players store Pals and transfer them between worlds. Additionally, a new Storage system called the Dimensional Pal Storage, can hold 10 times the amount that a regular Palbox can. Guild members automatically have access to it, but solo players can change this setting to be more like personal storage under settings.
Another fun feature that’s included in Palworld v0.5.0 is a cosmetic armor system. Players can use the Antique Dresser to change their character’s armor appearance without affecting the stats of the armor itself.
A Photo Mode has also been introduced to the game, which is sure to lead to some wild captures. Plus, a Drafting Table lets players combine lower-rarity blueprints to make higher-rarity blueprints.
There are also several balance adjustments, UI updates, and regular fixes as well. For example, buildings can now be placed even when a Pal is in the way. Players can read the full patch notes here to see every change that’s been made.
Pocketpair released a video celebrating the new update, which players can check out below:
The crossplay update was announced last week, and there’s one thing for sure: no Nintendo lawsuit is keeping Palworld down — it hit over 32 million players across all platforms last month.
