Today in Munich, Opel revealed the Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo at the IAA Mobility 2025 International Motor Show, and the vehicle is coming to Gran Turismo 7 later this year.
The Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo is an all-electric sports car that honors Opel’s long history in the automotive industry and its dedication to tomorrow’s technology.
The design of the vehicle itself is centered around the Opel Compass, which is seen on the front and rear with horizontal and vertical lines. The car also has sharp lines to make it aerodynamic and give it that futuristic character.
Additionally, the Opel Corsa GSE Vision Gran Turismo has spoilers and aero blade fender flares to increase its handling, particularly at high speeds.
The interior of the car is just as impressive. It features a 350kW (476 ps) electric motor on each axle, which outputs 588kW (800 ps) and 800Nm (81.6 kgm) of torque. The result is a 1 to 100 km/h time of 2.0 seconds and a top speed of 320 km/h.
The interior creates what Gran Turismo calls a “detoxed racing experience.” It features a suspended driver’s seat with six-point seatbelts inside a roll-cage. There are also sensors that light up via illuminated fabrics on the dashboard and door inserts when something enters the car’s blind spots.
