Today, Lionheart Studios revealed that its Nordic MMORPG, Odin: Valhalla Rising, would officially launch globally for PC and mobile on April 29, 2025, with pre-downloading available the day before.
In the title, players create their own character and embark on an epic Nordic adventure, traveling between realms like Midgard and Jotunheim using open-world elements. After choosing one of four classes (Warrior, Sorceress, Priest, or Rogue), you’ll compete in large-scale 30 v 30 co-op battles, taking on group dungeons and boss raids with friends or other players online.
Gameplay has been optimized for crossplay, meaning you’ll be able to play with anyone on mobile or PC. Take a sneak peek at what is to come in Odin: Valhalla Rising later this month below:
Odin: Valhalla Rising was originally released in Korea and select Asian regions in 2021. The game stayed at the top of the Korean Google Play Store charts for 17 consecutive weeks, and has since registered over 17 million players.
Since release, a myriad of updates and fixes have been rolled out for the title, meaning that the upcoming release will feature upgraded character and environment assets, bug fixes, and improved UI quality. The game also features no load screens whatsoever.
Pre-registration for Odin: Valhalla Rising is now available on the official website, with server and character name reservations also open for players to secure their space. Early registration will result in a variety of rewards, including a limited-edition Viking-themed avatar and mount.
