Kingdom Simulator Norland Gets Biggest Update Yet With New Map and More

Norland Key Art

The developers of the popular early access kingdom simulator Norland released the biggest update of the game’s brief (but intense) history.

We get a new global map with redrawn city icons and objects, a lot more real estate with more realistic geography and proportions, and culturally aligned city and geographical names.

If you zoom out fully, you’ll get a political view with different colors for each state.

Local maps have also been updated with added terrain complexity and the behavior of the AI on the map has been revamped to be more dynamic.

A new dynasty tree has been added, showing not only legitimate children but also bastards. You can also check out your neighbors’ family trees.

The Knowledge system has been revamped as well, as follows.

We also get new unique visitors, continuing from previous patches.

You can read the full patch notes on Steam, where the game is currently discounted by 35%.

Norland is currently available in early access on PC. If you’re curious about what’s on the horizon, you can enjoy the roadmap toward the game’s full release.
