Norland Patch 28 Adds New Books, Knowledge Improvements, & More

Norland

UK-based studio Long Jaunt has just released the previously promised roadmap features for its indie darling simulation title, Norland, as a part of patch 28.

Alongside the 13 new unique cultural knowledge entries, Norland Patch 28 also revamps the knowledge system on the global map, adds new incognito guests, and releases a key binding menu. You can see the key improvements to knowledge broken down below:

Incognito Guests are a new type of character that feature hidden stats and secret intentions. These can either be positive or negative, and there are currently only four possible roles for them.

Hotkeys and custom controls can be changed in the settings menu. A slew of other balancing improvements and bug fixes, as well as 13 new books that you can see listed here.

Norland entered Steam early access back on Jul 18, 2024. It is a medieval kingdom simulator that places a heavy focus on complex stories, letting you build civilizations by controlling a noble family, using their wealth and knowledge to tend to the needs of the people or make themselves even more successful.

It is currently available for Steam, starting at a price of $29.99.
