NBA 2K26 MyTeam Reveals First Integration of NBA & WNBA Players

NBA 2K26

Today, NBA 2K26 revealed that, for the first time ever, NBA and WNBA players will be playing with each other on the same court as a part of the MyTeam game mode.

Players will now be able to mix and match current superstars and legends from both leagues, pairing rising stars like Paige Bueckers and Cooper Flag with legends like Sheryl Swoopes and Shaquille O’Neal.

The WNBA first made its appearance in the 2K games back in 2019 as a part of NBA 2K20, allowing players to experience the women’s game in “Play Now” and “Season” modes. In recent years, the series has expanded the game modes considerably to include more of a presence for WNBA stars, including like “The W” mode in NBA 2K21.

Alongside WNBA and NBA integration, NBA 2K26 MyTeam also adds new game-changer cards, Triple Threat Park at Night, Breakout Gauntlet, MyTeam Arena, and King of the Court. Each of these new features and modes can be seen in the courtside report below:

Other MyTeam updates for NBA 2K26 include a single-player salary Cap, Coach development, Victory Card exchanges, new Crest rewards in Domination, and plenty of quality-of-life improvements to performance. You can see a full list of the changes coming this year right here in the patch notes.

NBA 2K26 is set to release for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2 on September 5, 2025, with those who pre-order the Superstar or Leave No Doubt editions getting Early Access on August 29, 2025.
