iRacing revealed brand-new footage for its flagship racing title, Nascar 25. In the new development diary, they showcase just how far the next installment in the series has come, focusing on making the experience as authentic to real life as possible.
Complete test laps, run diagnostics, and just about everything else a real crew and driver would do to get ready for race day. The game will feature four premier NASCAR series (NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, Craftsman Truck Series, & ARCA Menards Series), as well as real drivers from each.
The presentation expands on what was already shown during the Career Mode diary, this time showing what a full race day looks like from the driver’s perspective. Whether it is the pits, garage, or speedway, Nascar 25 will let players live out the life of a pro driver in depth to the point where you’ll even be in the cockpit in first-person mode, interacting with your crew chief and spotter.
Speaking of Career Mode, you’ll also have full control over just about every aspect of your journey to become a NASCAR Cup Series champion. You’ll also be able to customize your own driver and vehicles, managing contracts, money, facility, and staff and make stregic choices on and off the track that will help or hurt you on race day.
Nascar 25 is set to release on Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC this Fall. For more information on this and other racing simulators like Project Motor Racing and Moza Racing, be sure to check back to Simulation Daily.
