Nascar 25 Reveals Extensive Career Mode and PC Version on Top of Consoles

Nascar 25

Today iRacing revealed new details about the upcoming Nascar 25, the upcoming officially licensed Nascar simulator for consoles and PC.

In a new developer diary video, we hear that the career mode will include all four Nascar series, starting from the ARCA Menards where our fledging driver will have to cut their teeth while operating from a small backyard garage.

We’ll then proceed through the Craftsman Truck Series, the Xfinity Series, and finally the Nascar Cup Series, as our office and garage will grow with us.

Players won’t just have to drive, but they’ll also be able to handle their career, signing contracts, earning money, hiring staff, expanding the facilities, and making public appearances of various kinds (from charitable events to movies) to build a reputation.

The developers also promise “more interaction with your crew chief and spotter than ever before.”

Interestingly, at the end of a race, we’ll see how the social media world reacts to our performance, including other drivers and influencers.

Incidentally, we also hear from racing legend Dale Earnhardt Jr., who is fully involved in development as Executive Producer. The video also stars 2024 Nascar Craftsman Truck Series Champion Ty Majeski.

Last, but not least, the press release confirms a PC version alongside consoles, which wasn’t mentioned before. The release window is fall 2025.

You can watch it below.

If you’re unfamiliar with the game, it’s the next officially licensed Nascar sim developed under the iRacing umbrella after the creators of the popular esports-focused sim acquired the license for the console renditions of the sport.

It’ll certainly be interesting, considering iRacing experience in hosting the official Nascar esports championships on its online platform.
