Tomorrow the developers of the indoor cycling simulation app MyWhoosh are releasing update 4.0.0.
Today they released a video starring Garage and Physics Consultant Rodney Loxley as he explains the features coming with the update.
Triathlon Mode will let users use the same user profile seamlessly in both ride and run mode and it’ll come alongside Workouts in running mode, with new workouts to be released over the coming months.
A new web-based custom workout creator will let users create workouts easily and import them directly into their custom workout folder.
Two new training plans include a Supertri one for Triathlon and one for SRC.
One of the main components of the update is the new UI available in Free Ride, Workouts, and Events, providing additional information in a clearer format.
Speed Sensor support and virtual shirting have also been added. You can check out the video below.
If you’re unfamiliar with MyWhoosh, it’s a popular cycling app developed in the United Arab Emirates to be used with training smart bikes (or bike trainers). It’s one among several apps that basically turns a smart bike into a full-fledged simulation rig that merges simulation itself, gaming, esports, and physical workouts.
It’s an effective way to approach simulation while also taking care of one’s fitness at the same time, enjoying rides in a variety of virtual locations inspired by various nations around the world.
The app is currently available for Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android, and Apple TV.
