MyWhoosh has revealed some exciting news for its users: a new MyWhoosh Cycling Esports League and the launch of Update 5.5.0, which includes several new features and Season Pass 3.
The MyWhoosh Cycling Esports League, or CEL for short, is a new team-based esports racing series. It kicks off with Season 1 on December 2, 2025, and it’ll last for eight weeks. During those eight weeks, users will compete across various racing formats, including Scratch Race, Points Race, and Individual Time Trials.
The CEL uses MyWhoosh’s Auto Categorization system to make sure that users are put into fair performance tiers. There will also be a MyWhoosh Police Drone system that’s focused on keeping the competition fair.
The races will have options available in different time zones to give everyone around the world a shot to participate. Despite the CEL being a team-based series, there’s also a way for solo bikers to join in, too.
This is by no means the first competitive series in MyWhoosh. Just this year, there was the Chasing Tadej Mission and the MyWhoosh Championships 2025.
Those interested in the MyWhoosh Cycling Esports League can check out the rules, participation information, and more here.
MyWhoosh will also be getting Update 5.5.0 on the same day. This new update comes with new wind and drafting dynamics, giving users a more realistic ride than ever before.
The new wind effects impact positioning, drafting, timing, and pack awareness. To help players adjust to these changes, the drafting UI will include more intuitive arrow indicators.
There will also be a new workout report, improvements to MyBunch, and the ability to join in on rides after they start (as long as it’s enabled by the event organizers).
Additionally, Update 5.5.0 brings MyWhoosh Season Pass 3. This 30-day pass will include a new Bhutan world, featuring gorgeous valleys and monasteries. It will also include in-game gear, along with the Colnago Y1RS.
