Today, Polyarc revealed Moss: The Forgotten Relic, a hand-crafted fantasy adventure that brings the Moss VR franchise to PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 1|2 this Summer.
Moss: The Forgotten Relic combines the stories of the virtual reality-exclusive games Moss and Moss: Book II, allowing console and PC players to experience them without a headset.
The trailer below shows how players will not only control a tiny but determined hero on her heartfelt adventure but also directly interact with the world itself as her watchful guardian, the Reader.

In the announcement, Polyarc Co-Founder and Design Director spoke about the team’s excitement to finally bring the title to console and PC:
“Our team has a deeply personal connection with the world and characters of Moss,” said Danny Bulla. “With The Forgotten Relic, we’re excited to invite players into Quill’s journey to share the wonder, mystery, and heart at the center of Moss.”
Moss tells the tale of Quill, a young mouse with dreams of greatness beyond the confines of her home. Gameplay blends exploration, environmental puzzles, combat, and a heartfelt connection between player and hero.
Moss: The Forgotten Relic features handcrafted cinematography through newly designed cutscenes and camera systems, alongside modernized visuals and platform-specific enhancements.
The original Moss (VR) was released in February 2018, followed by Moss: Book II in March 2022. The series has received acclaim from fans and critics alike, earning over 160 awards and nominations and making it one of the most successful recent indie titles in gaming.
