Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection fans got quite a bit of news earlier as Capcom revealed the pre-order bonus, save data bonuses, and info on the various editions of the game. There was also news on the story itself, introducing the characters and the world of the upcoming title.
For starters, those who pre-order Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection before its release on March 13, 2026, will receive the Layered Armor Set Skyscale Queen for Eleanor.
Players who play the game on a system that also has save data for Monster Hunter Stories, Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin, or Monster Hunter Rise will also get Layered Armor Sets for each game (Hakum Rider Outfit, Mahana Rider Outfit, and Kamura Garb respectively).
There are three editions of the game players can choose from: Standard, Deluxe, and Premium Deluxe. The Standard Edition comes with the base game, while the others come with several other bonuses:
- Deluxe Edition: Base Game, Deluxe Kit, Additional Side Story for Rudy, and a Special Outfits Set (includes outfits for Eleanor, Gaul, Kora, Ogden, Thea, and Rudy, along with new hairstyles for the player)
- Premium Deluxe Edition: Everything in the Deluxe Edition, plus a DLC pack with more outfits and more hairstyles
A new look at several of the in-game systems was also shown off. To start with, side stories are new, additional storylines that players can explore to get to know the other characters. Completing these also gives players benefits, such as new weapons, stronger skills, and even new Monsties for the character in question.
The character creation was also briefly teased, giving players a look at how they’ll be able to customize their own character. Additionally, several new characters, Monsties, and Monsters were shown off.
Last but not least was the introduction to the world of Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection. This video dives a bit into the history of the areas in the game, as well as the start of the problems that players face as they journey for the truth.
