Today, Mojang revealed the next Game Drop coming soon to its ultra-popular survival crafting game Minecraft, titled “Chase the Sky.”
The Game Drop will include a few of the features revealed during the latest Minecraft Live.
The titular feature is obviously the ability to revive and tame ghasts, which will then become a flying mount capable of carrying several players and even other things like animals.
You’ll also have a friend locator bar near your hearts, which will help you find your friends in the overworld much easier.
Speaking of the overworld, five more ambient music tracks will be added (alongside a new music disc titled “Tears”), alongside the Vibrant Visuals graphics update, which will come just to Bedrock initially. Further info about its release in the Java version will come at a later time.
Saddles will finally become craftable, and leashes will be changed so that you can attach animals to your ghast, even multiple at the same time.
You can check out all these features in the video below, presented directly by the developers.
Minecraft, which surpassed 300 million copies sold last year, is currently available on basically every platform with a chip inside.
As a matter of fact, if you have a console, PC, or smartphone, it’s very likely that there is a version of this ultra-popular game that you can run on it.
The franchise has become pretty much a cultural phenomenon, so much so that it has recently debuted on the Silver screen with a dedicated movie.
