While we knew it was coming, now that it’s out, we see its full extent, and it’s really big.

First of all, it comes with a full-fledged Bell UH-1 Iroquois, the famous “Huey” helicopter. What makes it even more interesting is that it’s a rather high-definition rendition by third-party developer Taog’s Hangar, who previously made an excellent version for MSFS 2020.

It also comes with several liveries, and of course, it can be used outside of the Stranger Things content, so simmers who aren’t interested in TV-series tie-ins still have a nice Christmas gift to enjoy.

For those who do enjoy tie-in content, the package, which needs to be downloaded from the oficial marketplace at no additional cost, includes a training mission, a narrative mini-campaign linked to the events and characters of the series, and a feature that lets you explore Hawkins freely to enjoy the familiar landmarks.

You can see a trailer below.

This is certainly not the first movie crossover we get. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 received content from Top Gun: Maverick and Dune. Even third-party developers jumped in recently with Jurassic World: Archipelago by Orbx.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is currently available for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5. If you’d like to hear more about the simulator, you can watch our latest interview with Head of Microsoft Flight Simulator Jorg Neumann.
