Today, PMDG provided new details about the upcoming release of its Boeing 737 line for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
CEO Robert Randazzo announced in a video published by the developer that work on the aircraft has been “accelerating wonderfully as of late.” He also confirmed that the -800 version will be the first to be released.
The developer also decided internally on a date for the beginning of the closed beta for the aircraft. While Randazzo did not mention when that will be, he said he will update us when it happens.
Randazzo then mentioned that while the whole product isn’t being rewritten, some elements are being added that PMDG believes will make it “really shine in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. The whole model is also being refactored to take advantage of the modular construction implemented with the new sim.
Incidentally, for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 users, the 737 line has been made available via the new Operations Center 3.

We also hear that PMDG is celebrating 28 years of operation. To celebrate, all of the company’s products will be 28% off until August 10. They certainly deserve our happy birthday wishes.
