Today third-party developer FlightFX announced the release date and the pricing of a rather unique executive transport turboprop for Microsoft Flight Simulator, the Piaggio P.180 Avanti.
According to the announcement made on the developer’s Discord server, the Avanti will launch on the official marketplace on February 6, 2025. The pricing will be $24.99.
The aircraft will be compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and purchasing the 2020 version will grant the 2024 version without needing an additional purchase for the first 6 months after the 2024 marketplace opens when Sim Update 1 officially releases after the current beta.
The developer is also working on the EVO version of the aircraft, and bundles will be available when it releases, so purchasers won’t have to pay full price again.
You can see the aircraft in action in the trailer below.
Microsoft Flight Simulator is currently available for both PC and Xbox Series X|S, albeit today’s release is only available for PC for the moment.
