ST Simulations has been working on Maastricht Aachen Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator for quite some time, and it’s finally almost time for release.
The airport will be released on Aerosoft‘s store on August 1 for PC, so the wait won’t be long.
The announcement was accompanied by a trailer, which you can watch below, courtesy of the good folks at AviationLads.
Maastricht Aachen Airport, ICAO code EHBK and IATA code MST, is a major European cargo hub, the second busiest in the Netherlands. While it’s not as relevant for passenger traffic, it’s still used for low-cost operations by airlines like Ryanair and Corendon.
ST Simulations has been working on it for a long time, with the announcement having been made all the way back in November 2022 following the release of Akureyri Airport. It was originally slated to launch in 2023, but we all know that airports made too fast tend to be sloppy, and this appears to be worth the wait.
Microsoft Flight Simulator is currently available for PC and Xbox Series X|S.
