Classic Trijet Boeing 727 Released for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Boeing 727 for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Today FlightSim Studio released a relevant new aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator, the freighter version of the classic Boeing 727.

While not many are in operation nowadays, the freighter variant still survives, and trijets are really cool to begin with.

It’s currently available on Aerosoft’s store for $48.79, and unlike FlightSim Studio’s Embraer E-Jets, it’s a full release and not an early access deal. Of course, the developer promises to keep updating it, but you get the full features from the get-go.

You can see it in action below.

The package offers the following features:

Detailed Exterior

Detailed Interior

Electronic Flight Bag aka Clipboard

Flight Dynamics

Comprehensive Systems

Navigation Options

Soundset

Easy Entry Menu (Crew Manager)

Comprehensive Online Documentation

It’s worth mentioning that a passenger 727-200 is also planned, but no timeline has been offered for the moment. We should also add that while the aircraft is coming to the official in-sim marketplace later this week (on Thursday as usual) it’s only for PC at the moment.

The developers mentioned on the official Discord Server that they have not yet managed to make the aircraft work on Xbox, and they hope Asobo will help them debug the issue.
