The folks at Blackbox mentioned on the official Microsoft Flight Simulator forums yesterday that the aircraft will be released in about two weeks. Today the developer also added that it’s looking for beta testers.

Below you can see the latest screenshots shared.

The civilian version of the aircraft will include several liveries and the BN-2T-4S Turbine Defender military version will also be included with the AL.1 and AL.2  communications and reconnaissance versions and the ASTOR version (Airborne Stand-off Radar) with the bubble nose shown above.

The developer also promises an accurate rendition of the Rolls-Royce Model 250 B17 engines.

Blackbox isn’t new to this family of aircraft having already successfully released both the BN-2 Islander and the BN-2A Trislander. They also released the rather unique Short 330 and Short 330 regional airliners sinking their teeth into turpoprops and laying the foundations for the Turbo Islander.

Of course, we’ll keep you posted when the aircraft is released, so stay tuned.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is currently available for PC and Xbox Series X|S.
