Today third-party developer FlyByWire showcased its upcoming Airbus A380 airliner, focusing on a rather relevant feature, the Electronic Checklist.
While we see a just single screenshot shared on the developer’s Discord server, it’s very high resolution and it shows the ELC (which is part of the Flight Warning System (FWS)) in action displayed on the same screen as the Engine/Warning Display (EWD).
The flight deck looks fantastic, beautifully modeled, textured, and weathered, which is quite amazing considering that this massive and complex airliner will be distributed for the super-affordable price of zero dollars.

At the moment, we don’t know when this aircraft will be released. It has been in development for years in parallel with FlyByWire’s super-popular (and equally free) Airbus A320neo, which is already available.
Of course, it appears that it’ll be worth the wait. We’ll keep you up to date as further announcements are made.
