Today Militech Simulations announced a new helicopter for Microsoft Flight Simulator and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, the Sikorsky MH-60.
The aircraft, announced on the developer’s Discord Server, is in development in collaboration with Blackbird Simulations, and is currently “in final integration phase” indicating that the release date is less than two months away, albeit it has not been precisely pinpointed, for now.
The package will include the MH-60 Jayhawk used by the Coast Guard, the MH-60S Knighthawk used by the Navy, and the MH-60R Seahawk anti-submarine version.
Customers will get a “wide range” of cabin configurations, special features, and “mini sceneries.” The developer is also working on a mission system dedicated to this aircraft and more within its catalog. It’ll support “SAR Missions and Coast Guard to Antisubmarine Warfare.”
Incidentally, we hear from Militech that they’re also working on Coast Guard vessels on the side.

Some may be wondering about the UH-60 Blackhawk. While it’s based on a similar airframe, the avionics are completely different. Militech says it’s aware of the demand and is seriously considering releasing UH-60 in the future as a separate product, but can’t provide an ETA at this time.
