Today, FlightFX announced via press release that its Piaggio P.180 Avanti II is coming soon to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
The aircraft already has a release date, and it’ll launch on the official MSFS 2024 marketplace on March 12, 2026. The price will be $24.99.
Those who already own the MSFS 2020 version released last year will be entitled to a free upgrade.
Perhaps even more interesting is the fact that the aircraft will now be officially licensed by Piaggio Aerospace, which means that it’ll be rebranded with its real name. This will affect the original MSFS 2020 version as well.
On that topic, the press release came with a statement by Nick Sdoucos, CEO at FlightFX.
“Official licensing is an important step for this aircraft and for our community. It reflects our commitment to representing the Piaggio P.180 Avanti
II accurately, partnering properly, and continuing to refine the experience through meaningful updates over time.”
The MSFS 2024 version will include “advanced flight and engine modeling, ProLine 21 avionics, VAMS 2.0 tablet integration, and highly detailed visual and audio work.”
The MSFS 2020 version will also be updated, and continued support is planned for the aircraft going forward.
