Today, Orbx revealed its rendition of Perth Airport (YPPH) in Australia for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and MSFS 2020.
The add-on, which was teased at FlightSimExpo, has now been fully revealed via the listing on Orbx Direct.
We also learn that beta testing of the airport, which is the fourth-busiest in Australia, is currently in beta, and testing is “well underway.” This means that release shouldn’t be too far off, although a specific date has not been announced just yet.
That being said, we already get a full list of features.
- Updated layout reflecting June 2025 airport changes
- Highly detailed Skybridge and T1 International Terminal
- PBR materials and dynamic lighting for realistic visuals day and night
- Modelled interiors for key terminal areas, including lounges and check-in halls
- Custom ground polygon with accurate markings, wear, and weathering
- Fully realised GA, Cobham, and FIFO aprons for authentic local operations
- Custom jetways, airside clutter, and static aircraft throughout
- High-resolution aerial imagery (imagery date TBC) for precise terrain representation
- Optimised and fully compatible with MSFS 2020 & 2024
The developer also released a large gallery of screenshots, providing a good (although explicitly not final) look at the airport and at the detailed terminal interiors.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 is available for PC and Xbox Series X|S.
